Looking for a quick drink and eat ahead of a little Croton tour and First Village satisfied! Cute little cafe, busy but no wait, street presence, all the right ingredients! Can vouch the "compost cookie" is that to a T - chocolate, fruit, nuts, whole grain, the whole package with the right texture and sweetness. Very friendly group service - staff is in communication and all happy to assist. Very nice venue worth the Ossistopover!

Sept 2022, this place has great coffee and scones. When you walk into the place they are playing music off of vinyl records which is nice to see and hear, plus the staff are friendly. The back room is bright and airy with seating, not dull and dark. Also if you can sit outside on the tiny deck in the back that has only a few chairs. Honestly, I love coming here, better than going to a chain store like Starbucks, plus we should all support the local businesses in Ossining.

Great service and delicious coffee! A great local spot. They even have lots of milk alternative options. Everyone was really friendly and they also have fresh local baked goods. I tried the pear cheese danish - incredible!

Stopped in yesterday and was blown away by this adorable, beautiful spot. The owner Luis was incredibly friendly...asked my name, introduced me to his son who was working behind the counter. Told me to look around while he whipped up my delicious latte with vanilla and oat milk. I got it to-go but would love to sit down next time and enjoy my coffee in one of the gorgeous cup and saucer sets that the beverages are served in.

The pastries looked great and bought a few to bring home...family consensus gave them a hearty thumbs up! I cannot wait to go back to for another visit. There is definitely a feeling of community at this lovely café. What a gem!

I absolutely love this place! The people working here are truly amazing and treat each of their customers with care. They make this space inviting where they show interest to engage in an conversation with you as they prep your drink. I love their dirty chai latte with oat milk. Their lattes are always freshly made to go and they ensure the drink is adequately and uniquely designed as they pour the espresso into the foam milk - it's always entertaining to watch this. Their pastries are heavenly!!! And they even have vegan options! This place is just so chill and unlike the other coffee shops in the county. This coffee shop truly embraces diversity and care about the community. Wish I could give this place ten stars. :)

I'd you haven't been to this place yet or driving through town or looking for a meeting place, stop by at this place! It'll be worth your time.

The best almond croissants I've ever had (even those I've had in Paris)! Balanced selection of both sweet and savory pastry options - all were absolutely divine! As were the 8 oz lattes. In fact, this is one of the very few places I've seen offer 8 oz coffee options. This is wonderful because 12 oz always just dilutes the coffee with too much milk for me.

Went back two mornings in a row! New music playing on the record player every day. Cute room in the back. LOVE that they don't provide wi-fi!! This prevents the situation we had at another bakery where we wanted to eat but all of the seats were taken by members of the laptop club.

Finally some fancy but unpretentious coffee in Ossining :) Great ambiance, wonderful owners, and excellent carefully prepared coffee/tea/drinks. They also serve some really tasty vegan snacks. Most places in Westchester with coffee this good have overinflated ego permeating the walls - not First Village. This is a very cool spot to relax and enjoy the vibes of a good morning.

Definition of a macchiato. Not some milky, caramel laden suckabucks creation. This is an expertly pulled shot of espresso with a nice crema topped with a dollop of milk foam.

Luis, Kathryn, Alejandro, and Leah are all skilled baristas whose love and respect for coffee is only surpassed by their care for their customers. Run a coffee shop as a communal hub like them and you will reap the success.

Great atmosphere in this local coffee bar, just across from the post office. Of course it's good coffee, but also a good place to meet neighbors and chat, and support the local economy.

Great coffee shop that has some of the best pastries. Had a vegan beignet which blew my mind (I’m not vegan, it was delicious!) and a chocolate croissant that was perfectly flaky and delicious. The almond croissant was equally outstanding. Baristas are friendly, knowledgeable and make a killer black tea latte.

A wonderful third-wave coffee house w/ Irving Farm Coffee, La Marzocco machine, warm well designed space, and incredibly friendly owner. A true gem in a town desperately in need of quality shops.
